It's Monday morning and I have just had relaxing massage and feel slightly stiff but remarkably mobile at the moment. Can't believe we have actually completed and how lucky we were. One morning of rain, one dodgy pedal and one puncture. A fair amount of tail wind and lots of sunshine and good company every day. Thanks all - you are stars! Really loved the varied and beautiful scenery, the lunch stops and all the varied and fab accommodations. Would recommend them all: Newton Stewart Youth Hostel, Abington Days Inn, Salutation Hotel, Raemoir House Hotel and the Laichmoray Hotel. Overall, day 2 was the easiest and I did not like Cairn o Mount, the cycle to Aboyne or the hour on the last day where I had gone to sleep! Shout out to Danny the mechanic/headwinder/support vehicle and Shirley who had the idea! Stats: Final Saddle time: 23 hours, 30 minutes Final Distance: 525km/320 miles Average Speed: 23km/hour A big thanks to all those of you who have supported, sponsored or followed us.
