Sitting now in the hotel in Perth after a slightly earlier dinner. What a day. Woke up to torrents of rain battering the window...doom! However, after breakfast we met Karen, Kirsty and Iain in the car park where the sky was now blue and the sun shining....yippee! So basically we cycled quite fast with a tail wind and had a lovely time actually. Amazing scenery. Even the muscles were smiling. Lots of photo stops today and some help from Alistair and Iain number 2. All the purple tops cycling together looks great and like being on a school trip because you can find everyone easily! Feeling like minor celebrities as we even had to wait on a newspaper photographer at one point, although in true style he was late! This was at our R Stop - ROSYTH. Danny did an excessive amount of cycling into the wind as he taxied back and forth and we managed to pass him somewhere and not realise it. Geographers....! Finished in Perth by the river eating Shirley's delicious blackcurrant loaf, yum. Disappointing - no cold bath so cold shower instead! Distance today 32 km today and 5 hours 20 in the saddle. Whew!
