Saturday 27 July and Shirley and I head out for our last big run together before the Get go! Starts well in sunshine then after 10km, first puncture!! After a lengthy repair and not much air, I beat it back to the car to rescue Shirley then we do a wheel transfer. So...take 2 and off we go again. This time manage to get 3 hours in as clouds loom but no punctures thankfully. I found this one tough so cannot wait to get going now and get it over with!! Shirley wanted to do it all again but the call of Birthday cake was too strong!
